Polyurethane membrane systems are liquid-applied and cure by reacting with moisture in the air and substrate, forming a fully seamless, elastomeric membrane with no joints or overlaps for water to exploit. Pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resins give excellent resistance to UV, chemicals and thermal movement, and the system can be applied to curved surfaces, upstands and complex roof details that sheet membranes cannot cover cleanly.
